To All,

I finally got the Corvair pushed back to my apartment, lol. I am attaching a picture of the 14 cubic inch engine. Once again, this is a 1960 Corvair 700 2- door.

Apparently I learned form the treasurer Darrin that the fact that my generator fan, light is on in the car and that's not good. No wonder my new battery died.

The car would start and run good, but then I notice fuel was not wanting to be delivered in one of the carbs and I replace both fuel filters along with a fuel line. I was orginally sutck because the car stalled not far from were I live and apparently the transmission is working properly which carrried me out of the apartments I live in.

I also replaced the condenser and sitll need to do a minor tune up on the Corvair as I have purchased spark plugs, pointsand oil change. I need someone to help me check the timing with a gun also. The Corvair is in need of exhaust pipe change as the exhaust is leaking and of course giving off a larger sound than it should. The brakes seems to work well and quite honeslty. I never started that car before purchase and perhaps I did pay more than I should have, but honestly it was in the best shape out of all the ones I looked at. I basically want to resolve these issues and get the car mobile. The spedometer cable needs calibrated or replaced along with the blinker being stuck that I have to pull on the cable to stop it. This Corvair over all is ready to and has the usual problems areas such flooring and interior work I need to do.

If any of you are open to help me for a 6 pac of beer and or some home cooked food? Please join me this week sometime after 3pm to possibly help me resolve and trouble shoot my stalling issue. I heard it could mean my timing is not properly set or vaccum advance bad.

call or text me at 757-353-2243. I am located in Reston by fairfax parkway!!

v/r Justin
