Hi Trey,

Will you convert to an internally or externally regulated alternator. I
did this on my 63 and works well. I followed the instructions in Bob
Helt's book, but also looked at the instructions in the Corsa Tech Guide.

If externally regulated, you need a late model regulator with the plug
from a late wiring harness. Pretty simple actually.

Of course, you need the oil filler/alt mounting bracket from a late as
well...but you probably know all this already.

I have a soccer tournament all weekend and have agreed to help a friend
replace struts on a Toyota.....a waste of time to keep an appliance alive,
but a good friend....so cannot help.

Good luck with it.

Darrin

I'm going to try to convert my 62 from generator to alternator on Sunday.
If anyone is available given my limited skill level, I could use the help.
Thanks
Trey Nelson
