Hey Vair People,

It's been a few years, and I thought I'd drop in and say hello! I still read the vair emails now and then and reminisce of the days when I had friendly, knowledgeable Corvair folks to bring the van out with on occasional Saturday mornings. I moved to CA a few years ago, leaving my vair behind. After becoming established and finding a place to park the Greenbrier , I found a friend willing to drive the van out to CA.

>From VA the 63' Greenbrier drove South to Highway 40, with a 1970's BSA Motorbike strapped to the floor inside. We met up in Las Vegas, the friend picking me up from the airport in my van. After pulling the bike out and some adjustments, we camped in the Valley of Fire National Park. The next day we split ways, my friend riding the BSA South into AZ and the vair riding through the desert into CA, where it now resides. 3500 miles and no issues, I'm happy to report. Running strong to this day.

Thought you all might be interested in the story, it was great to get my van back. Keep those Corvairs running!
