[NoVa-Corvairs] Engine not running right

I remover the top cover on my 63 corvair and replaced the cooling fan. I marked the spark plug
wires and removed the  Distributer cap. did not touch the distributer. I put everything back
on the engine and it won't run right. Won't Idle  I checked and rechecked the spark plug wires
they are right. At about 2000 rmp it runs good, Leave up on the gas and the engine dies.
I did nothing that would make the engine run rough.

Any idea's would be appreached
