Calling all classic car owners!
Spring is the time of year to polish the chrome, shine the tires and tune up your Deuce Coupe, Mustang or GTO…. and SHOW IT OFF!
This year, the Silver Spring Strawberry Festival will host its first annual Antique Car Show on May 18.  We have space for about 200 cars specifically reserved on the Festival Grounds.  Set up from 7am to 9:30am.  The Antique Car Show location is the Cedar Ridge Farm, the site of Cedar Ridge Community Church, 2410 Route 198,  Burtonsville, MD 20868; corner of Peach Orchard Road.
Antique Car Show Exibitor/Registrant package will include:
1) A custom designed commemorative T-shirt
2) Vending Pass (sell your car, or sell parts), swapping, sponsorship opportunities
3) The awards presentation to the winners of the Antique Car Show is planned at 2:00 pm
4) Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place winners in each category.
5) First Place in the People’s Choice Award among 50 or more cars also gets $100 cash*
It is going to be a great event. Last year over 2,400 people, from all over Maryland, came to the Strawberry Festival, this year we are expecting more than 3,000 as the event will be bigger and better than last two years. Lots of opportunities to network, to sell or simply to enjoy the day showing off your classic car…

Classic Car Owners, please pre-register at milkladymarkets.org and click on the ‘Antique Car Show’ tab at the top.  We need to know how many cars are coming to set up the awards for first, second and third in each category and for the People’s Choice award.

NOTE – THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET
FOR YOUR VEHICLE TO QUALIFY FOR THE ANTIQUE CAR SHOW:
1. We are looking for the earliest antique cars up to 1980.  Unique hybrid category cars of all manufacturing years are welcome also.
2. We are also seeking motorcycles and farm tractors of all types and ages.
3. Confirmations from all participating car owners are due by April 20.  Minimum of 50 cars showing to win the cash prize.*
(*) In order for People’s Choice Award to take place, a minimum of 50 exhibitors must register and participate in the Antique Car Show.
