Justin: I took a photo at a recent show (Saratoga, NY) of what your car will eventually look like: (I hope it's the right color!). See Attach.

He can make about anything. I'm going to Tarija on Wednesday for a week, so I'll ask if he had any left over (that he can remember from 4 years ago). Part numbers might be in the body manual. I have part of one, but also in Tarija, someone out there should have that.

Here is the tailgate for my Mini he just fabricated the lower part of. (although that is a small project compared to his patching the front of the 94 to the rear of the 75, with different door openings, widths, and curves).

I don't want to mess the trim up lol. Have a guy who specializes in it. Think you could have your guy there in Bolivia make me all the clips I need? I'll pay for them lol. For real. Apparently the trunk, engine and sides use different clip. Clarks can't even give me the oem part numbers so I can cross reference from auveco.
Need that info to perhaps be in the ball park of what I need.

      Don't forget to sand first.

Then you can get a set of polishing sticks at HF that go from course to fine, using a polishing wheel like this (that I bought back in '71 from Sears).

        Justin,

You definitly need to look at Mr. Widman's website on how he "transformed " his 60 trim.

There is at least one supplier of various vintage repro trim clips and other fasteners.

He used to come to my AACA Region (SMR) swapmeet. He has a good online catalouge but need to rmember the supplier.

Surprized that Clarks does not carry repro clips.

Deck lid is unique for the 60 on the inside. I dd not know you were looking for that.

Frank Duval may have it. Might still be something at Rich Coburn's (Any one remember any sheet metal?) I might also know of a salvage yard that had about 20 Corvairs , but not sure of any 60's . Will check one other source for you.

Everyone knows I been trying to track down the original beltline trim. I just bought the rear quarter panels and doors from clarks. Getting two front panels from rafee and just need the engine lid. Need clips and that it's besides trying get these polished or me polishing them back up. J. Smalley
