Richard,
Thank you.just wondering if they were or not. The ones I purchased have the
boots etc.but I know with the older VW's the plugs were specific and the car
would run like ^#&# if you put anything other the Bosh in them..

Coil wire might be generic, but you need the seals for the holes in the tins
on all the rest, and of course the right lengths. Much of the FLAPS stuff is
the thinner insulated, etc.
Going for the thick silicon stuff guarantees less chance of current loss
and/or shorting across to other wires or grounds.
BTW, a can of plasti-dip does wonders for the wire holders/separators.
