Now that I am older I need to make the job as easy and worry free as possible. I generally buy or borrow a special tool to get a job done. This brings me to the subject matter of a Gas Sender Unit Removal tool. The last time I added fuel to the vehicle was a few years ago. The sock on the pickup tube for the line inside the tank has apparently been completely clogged by the gasoline. I need to remove the gas sender unit so the inside of the tank can be inspected/cleaned and/or replaced as necessary. I would be deeply grateful if anyone has the special tool for removing this gadget and would loan it to me for a few days.
