[NoVa-Corvairs] Meeting this weekend

I may have something carb related.  Two weekends ago I stopped by Darrin's house with all four of my carbs in a box and we each rebuilt two.  They're back on my car now, but I haven't gotten them quite synched.  I think they're close, however, and that it's a
simple matter of adjusting where the accelerator rod is meeting the cross shaft since the car idles and an acceptable speed for about 10 seconds and then dies. 
If you recall, last month at Vern's house we installed a custom machined linkage kit that eliminates much of
the slop associated with the stock linkage.  I think there are still some minor kinks that need to be worked out, although for the most part I do like the upgrade.  In any event, my carbs may need five minutes of love from someone with more skill than I
have.
