As Lee noted, there was a late year '65 change to the "short shaft" box, so before you buy anything, determine which one you have.
As for "spare box", you might be more specific, what you really meant was one of "good used box with adjustment left" or "good core for rebuilding". You'll far and away find more of the latter than the former. I just did the box for our '66, the kit costs about $100.
On the quick box - it depends. If you mean the new Flaming River box, there is some fiddling required, although they work pretty well once dialed in. I have one in the wagon, I'll tell you the history off line.
