[NoVa-Corvairs] Rockville Antique and Classic Auto Show is This Saturday, 10/17

Hi All,

FYI – the annual Rockville (MD) “Antique and Classic” auto show is this Saturday, 10/17, from 11:00-3:30 at the Rockville Civic Center grounds (aka Glenview mansion grounds).  Some details from the website below.  Google Rockville Auto Show 2015 for more.  There are usually at least a few Vairs there.
The cars are all out on a grass field so keep an eye on the website if it looks like rain.  They’ll postpone if the field is sloppy.

About the Event
Join us on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. as the grounds of Glenview Mansion transform when more than 550 antique and classic automobiles go on display. From Packard to Ferrari, 31 car clubs are represented during this grand event while auto collectors and enthusiasts share the fond memories of the classic cars of yesteryear. The show also has a flea market and car sales area. Food and drink will be available for purchase at the event. This event is open to the public and admission is free.

  Hi Everyone!

  I just confirmed with Ron and want to pass on the details for the October NVCC meeting.

  Ron Tumolo volunteered to host the October meeting on Saturday, 24 October at his house from 0830-1300.  The address is 905 N. Amelia St., Sterling VA, 20164.  The projects he has planned for us are: "Removal and adjustment of my front coil springs, dropping the pan on my trans and adjusting my shift lever.  And if there are any carpenters in the club, I picked up an ATV jack for next to nothing at Harbor Freight and I'd like to build a finch cart to lower engines and donate it for club use".

  Please keep in mind the date for this one is not our usual third Saturday of the month.  Thanks, hope to see you all there!
