Hey Mark,   In trying to get the parts 65 on the tow dolly, I bent the right rear trailing arm.  Right rear wheel is now horizpntal.  Tried bolting the lower controlled arms together but may have made it worse.  No driveline,no time to put one i n .   Any

Should have disconnected the Dow dolly and brought it to the rear wheels,then trying to bring the car to the Dolly.  I think that that will work for the 66 Fitch Corsa.  But I still have to move both of them from Storage this week and the disabled one needs to go first .   Most of the parts car is going to Frank DuVal's for front end body parts.
So any other thoughts on how to get the right wheel straight, or how to stabilize, or any other thoughts on towing on the front wheels.   A wrecker might be able to do it, but eventually it will go to Franks.   Maybe will just. Cut it up and put it on the pick up.   Would have made a funny vidio to have seen it happen.  I will see if there is some way to.get your email on the nvcc list.  Dues are good untill Dec.

SHADE TREE MECHANIC
Hi,

Today I put the front of the Bronze Corvair up on jack stands. I wanted to look underneath while the gas tank is out of it to check on the steel brake lines. Sure enough, it needs the brake lines replaced. They were Last replaced in 1980. Also found the suspension cross-member is weak with rust and should be replaced. Here are some pics.
How is the engine coming along?
