Hey all. This is always a great tour. I have been Four times. Others in our group of nvcc folk have been too.

An open tour. All invited to come. Even if you have to drive a modern rig.

So on the subject of tours. My AACA region - SMR - is having their first tour of six this year, on Feb. 28th. This is called the "Heater Tour" and will leave from Jefferson, MD. (Just west of Frederick) at 9:00am roam thru the mountains on some neat roads and have dinner at the South Mt. Inn. Easy for NVCC folk to get to by heading up 270 and then west on 340 to the Lander Rd. Exit. Starts from the Ruritarian which you will see as you are getting off the exit. Take a right and a right into the lot. You can also get there via rt 15 from Leesburg area. And some back roads if you wish.

If anyone would like to come please come as my guest. Guest are okay, but if you can let me know ahead I can notify the tour organizers you would be coming. Come vintage if the weather is okay. Car pool if you want

Good to bring at least one other person to read directions in case the car in front of you made a wrong turn.

Lots of fun to Tour with some other old car folk and see the old cars in motion.

I will try to make the meeting at Stan's or call or email if you think you want to come on the 28th.

There are some other tours if you can not make this one. I do not expect the whole club. But some of you might enjoy.

Thanks

The 27th annual Orphan Car Tour will take place on Saturday, June 4,
2016 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, near Annapolis.

We would be grateful if you could mention the Tour in The Hot Airmail.

At the moment we're still involved in planning, so we can only
furnish the date and locale. A full press release and a flyer, with all
details, should be ready by early March and we will send it to you.
Meanwhile, we will add further details on our website,
http://www.orphancartour.org/ as they become available, and your members
could check there for more information. The website contains a history
of the Tour as well as other information about it, should you be
interested. Feel free to list my contact information in your article or
calendar listing.

If you or any of your members live in, or are acquainted with, Anne
Arundel County, you can help us. Each Orphan Tour usually includes
stops at points of interest along the route, and we need to know of any
interesting private collections or museums (of automobiles, antiques,
historical events, etc.) that we may not have heard of, and whose owners
might consider allowing us to visit them. Please contact me if you can
help!

I will be thankful for your help in spreading word of this year's Orphan
Car Tour!

Sincerely yours,
