True, more planning would have made some things easier, but we all stepped up when it counted. Also, in my opinion, what put our event over the top was DJ Al Harris. The music brought in lots of foot traffic and the cordless mic made it real easy to tell people what was going on. I do think it's time to scratch the valve cover racing and replace it with some sort of digital gaming. Also worth noting was that one of vendors, Junkman Dan, returned the 65.00 check to the gent who had the Rampside and needed a starter. He's a stand up guy and I'll definitely send some of my Corvair business his way.
