Hey All,

This is a general rolling Cruise in. Sort of the Shady Grove Cruise In guys. Some of you may know some of the folks in this group from the Great Falls Cars and Coffee and The Bethesda, or the Olney, Md one. Or the Shady Grove Group. Might be fun to go on if you have not roamed around Montgomery county and into Fairfax, etc. Some nice roads in this area. And still some late fall foliage,

I get this stuff forwarded from Lee Sutherland via my AACA Region. But, Not so hard to get on Chuck McDonalds List.

No real club affiliation and various vehicle show up. Mods , rods,, Antiques. Scary that all Corvairs have been Antiques for over 27years!

The Cars get old and we stay young.

Check the thread is you need to respond to the tour leader. If you show up at the beginning you are always in. So start out in Md. and cut out in N. Va. or Do the whole thing or just meet them at Point of Rocks or other.

Thought for the day. May also be some routes useful for a NVCC Tour.

This does not have to go through me but I think it is through Milford Sprecher.

Also. Just received Notice that well know old car guy Buzzy Potter of Cabin John, Md. passed away at age 99 on Thanksgiving. Among other cars he had his first one from High School found years later and his 36 Ford Convertible Sedan he and his wife

bought new!

At some point very soon the 66 Corsa (George) which is down at Greg Wathour's , will need to be started again and trouble shot so it can hopefully make it to Frank DuVal. may not need lots of help but should not stay at Greg's too long. Thanks to both Doug Jones and Greg W. For helping safe guarding the car and keeping safe.

If you know of anyone who knew him from years past and can forward any info on memorial if interested

Milford Sprecher is organizing another short antique car cruise to Point of Rocks, Maryland on Decermber 11th Sunday. The group will leave from the Shady Grove Cruise in site around 9:30 and travel to White's Ferry, cross the Potomac, up the Virginia side, crossing at Point of Rocks and stopping for lunch at Point of Rocks. For lunch, we will stop at Deli on the Rocks. I have not been there, but it gets good ratings. http://www.deliontherocks.com/chicken-subs---sides.html We will return on the Maryland side back to Rockville/Gaithersburg afterwards.

8" 12" philly cheesesteak $5.99 $8.99 steak served on a toasty roll ...

People can join us on the way, as long as we know where to meet you and about what time. Please let Milford know if you are interested via email milford.sprecher at gmail.com .

It will be getting on into December and the weather will make the determination. Milford will cancel if it is raining or snowing or icy or if the forecast for precipitation is too high. Another consideration would be lots of salt on the roads as a result of bad weather just before the planned trip. Otherwise, the Cruise ia a go.

Milford had a turnout of three cars for the trip to Westminster, it was a lot of fun, so he thought to try it again.

The exact route is not determined, but I want to stay off of main roads like Rte 15 as much as possible. If anyone has a suggestion for a scenic route between the ferry and Point of Rocks, please let me know.

Thanks,

Milford H. Sprecher
