I have not been there in Years. But it is a top museum. Lots of really cools stuff. (No Corvairs at present).
If anyone from the Club is planning on going down and not staying overnight, I would be interested in riding down. I could get to the members house at whatever the time and head down with you. Just me. Or if you wanted to show two Corvairs and needed a driver I could drive one! Long drive for me for just me.
So the other thing i may have mentioned is that My AACA Region is having a really nice tour the next day on the 6th. Sponsored by the Bethesda Chapter they will stop at at least two Potomac Md area private collections.
You can come on the tour as my guests. And it will be a tour also maybe 60 miles on some back roads. Close enough for some of you, and you could bow out early if you needed.
Will post the actual starting point once I get it. Last tour for my Region this year. The Tour will be in Late Feb. if you can not make this one.
But make the Central Va.one and Carpool if that is better!
Thanks! Lee Cramp -- 240-704=5479 alcramp at msn.com

Hi, as current president of CVCC, I'd like to invite any NVCC members who would be interested to a unique event we're having Saturday, November 5th. It will be in Richmond at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. By necessity, the 'behind-the-scenes' tour has to start early, so anyone from outside central VA would have to get a very early start or come Friday and spend the night. Someone not interested in that special tour could arrive later and still meet up with us and enjoy the museum. The buildings and grounds are beautiful and the treasures inside include all kinds of art works, crafts, and artifacts ranging from ancient Greece, Rome, and Egypt up to modern times.
Sincerely,
David Robertson
