[NoVa-Corvairs] Oil pick up change out

Hey all
I'm trying to change my oil pick up to the Otto one to work better with my new Clark's oil pan. Looks like the place to screw the bar part is in a different place. Anybody have any suggestions what to use to attach it. Screw directly in to the hole shown in the picture?  What size screw?  Or am I better off waiting until the meeting on the 21st?
