[NoVa-Corvairs] Noob May Need a Good Used Head

I think D. maybe right on the 140's I have only seen one of these being rebuilt years ago it was changed to forged pistons. Done by a High School age Dempsey Helper years ago with Jack's help.

There were several that did go through Hot Air Enterprises that were late 140 rebuilds. But Jack is the one who really knows. And who has seen much.

Bryan,

The only one I dealt with had no pop up pistons, but I think you are right on the base case. Worth a look.

Darrin,

I was under the impression that the AIR engines used pop up pistons to get the compression back, the open chamber heads run cooler which is the reason they're used. Not sure you can just bolt standard 110 heads onto a smog engine.
