Got it off today.  Amazing how much more smoothly things go with a little experience.

Need to remove the choke thermostats before shipping.  Should I remove the exhaust manifold studs?  A couple came out on the head as I forgot to raise the flap on the lock washers before. What  about the cylinder head temp sending unit? Leave in or remove?

Noticed that the piston in #1 cylinder seemed at TDC as #2 cylinder.   Guessing one is at compression and the other at exhaust(ion) and 3 & 4 and 5 & 6 pair up the same?
