FYI- I got this email with pictures at 10:57am this morning. Seems that having to convert novacc-list at corvair.org to ALL those emails Really slows the delivery down. You in the shop yet?

Hi all-  Just thought I would shoot out an email of a few things I hope to accomplish this Saturday.  First, I appreciate everything we've been able to get done on Mabel.  I got so much done last Winter, and I'm a little discouraged how fast the last 10 months have gone by (but I guess that's called life).  But now that we have the motor back in, I thought that maybe if I listed some various small projects, maybe I could delegate some things for whoever comes to the meeting Saturday.  Some of them are things that I can do later, but I just need some help and strategies for getting it done.  I really hope to take Mabel out on the open road this Spring or Summer.  It's been a project that Donovan has been around for and I want to start building some Ultravan family memories. He was a little baby when I brought this whale home ;-/  
In no particular order, but wherever our strengths are...-gut/remove clutch pedal, shifter and linkage (going back to PG)Hook up PG cable (i found a long, ultravan PG cable online, free, believe it or not. What are the chances)  -Figure our battery cables/ switch/isolator for starter battery and house battery, and a good ground for them all-get Mabel running on her own! Figure out fuel tank situation (there is a reserve tank and I have an electric switch, but there was a manual switch originally to go between main tank and reserve tank) 


Any of these things will be an accomplishment.  Thanks again. We will have some light food and some bloodies and beer for anyone who wants to partake.  Address below!
PS- I hope to have a random Corvair related screen set up on the manual press if anyone wants to bring a shirt or a few to put it on.  I have some random blanks here, but not sure what colors/sizes.  Everyone is welcome to bring a shirt/take a shirt!Thanks!
