I have seriously broken with my rule that I only buy parts that I will need immediately...or in the very near future. Wasn't so much a rule, really. More like a good idea, now that I think about it. A lifestyle that I was considering. </font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">My training in hoarding happened very early in life and may not be reversable. Fortunately, in my case, it is Corvair parts rather than something useless like stocks and bonds or a college fund for the kids.</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">This acquisitiveness could have several serious negative externalities for the club, and maybe you personally....namely, the driving up of prices for all things Corvair in this region...and in its most dire manifestation, my needing to move in with you folks after my wife kicks me out (with all my parts in tow).</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Maybe Daniel should recognize that I am developing a problem and refuse to sell to me. Or he could choose to enable my delusion that every part will some day be useful...putting his own financial gain ahead of my wellbeing. </font>

Actually, I think I determined why the wheel was splayed out so much: one of the lug nuts was missing, and the corresponding stud was at six o'clock when I parked the car. <br>

Incidentally, after asking for a carb j-bolt, I found two!<br>
