Does the clutch cable run under the carpet through the cabin? I found the swivel ball lodged behind the gas pedal but I can't locate the remains of the clutch cabel. My assumption was that it runs through the firewall near the pedal into the tunnel but the brief diagrams I've found online suggest it runs through the cabin. I'm at work without my service manual to look any of this up.
