Let me give some more info about the car:<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>1) Located in Front Royal<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>2) 1965 Monza 2 door hardtop; pretty much stripped down, but with engine and wheels installed; the rest is in my basement<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>3) 110 engine with 4 speed; not running at the moment, but I drove it around my neighborhood shortly after I got it<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>4) comes with most of a 140 motor (minus the heads)<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>5) comes with a pair of 95 HP heads that I was planning to use when I rebuilt the engine<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>6) comes with a box of new parts, including an Ignitor ignition, new headlights, new taillight lenses, and a bunch of smaller parts <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>7) the body is mostly bare metal; the roof has primer on it<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>8) needs fairly extensive welding on both rear quarter panels<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>9) has been largely rust-proofed, and/or rusty metal replaced with new<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>10) has a new brake master cylinder and brake lines installed<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>11) has 15" wheels, but I've still got the originals<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>12) no air conditioning<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Basically, I did a lot of work on the big, important structural issues, and got it to the point where I was finishing up the welding and getting ready for filler/primer/paint, and then the huge task of putting it all back together. That's the point when my wife's health took a turn for the worse (lots of intestinal/colon issues), along with our finances, and I literally haven't had a spare moment (or penny) to work on the Corvair for about four years now. Anyway, we need to move soon, so the Corvair must go. The upshot is that there is still a LOT of work left, mostly involving cosmetics and putting the whole thing back together again. This is not a project for the faint of heart, but if someone out there has the time, money and skills necessary, it's definitely doable.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>Gotta go crash now.
