Hi, all. When my daughter Catherine bought her red '68 convertible
15 years ago for her daily high school commute, I joined the local
and national clubs and have kept our memberships up ever since.
Through Catherine's high school years, then college at UVA, and then
her various travels, she always wanted me to keep the Corvair going
and safely under cover for her. Now, married to Daniel Case, living
in Reston, and expecting their first child, they have seriously
retaken possession of the '68 from my barn, had it up for a thorough
session with Jeff at the Ranch, and seem to be real serious about
once again proudly and regularly showing it off out on the streets.

I suggested to Daniel that he should take over the membership and
get the Hot Air Mail going forward, and I will also have him join
the national club. Daniel has already expressed interest in monthly
meetings and tech sessions. <br>
<br>
Is it possible to replace me with Daniel on the list and move the
membership over to him, or Catherine and him? They're both on this
email so you can pick up their email addresses, if it's possible to
switch over in mid stream like this. <br>

Anyway, I want to make the introduction and let you know that I
think you'll soon be seeing Daniel Case at a meeting.<br>

<pre wrap="">Hey, Gang! Barring any torrential downpours or extreme heat, I will be going to the one day Corvair show in DE on Saturday, August 8th from 9am to 3pm. If you would like to go with me, follow along in your own Corvair, or meet there, that would be great! I will leave my home in Alexandria by 6:30/7 at the latest to make the 2 - 2:30 drive. You can register on site, so no pre-registration is necessary. Lunch will be included. There will be People's Choice, vendors (2 commitments so far this year, they had 4 vendors last year), DJ, 50/50, Ice Cream truck, etc. Since we are hosting next year's Vair Fair, it would be nice to support this show since a few people from the DE/Philadelphia area come to our show. Mike Slotwinski is the host. He has the dark blue Lakewood with the white top. Please let me know if you would like to go! Thanks! Greg
