I have owned the car since 1979, when I purchased it in Alexandria, Virginia from the second owner. The original engine was leaking badly when I got it, and had poor compression in several cylinders, so I purchased another 64 Monza with the 110 engine, which I installed with the help of Corvair loving friends. The car was fully restored in the late 1990's including paint and rust repair, complete new interior except for the original padded dash that remains including seats, door cards, boot, sunvisors, carpets, and top surround areas. All interior, window, and top gaskets were also replaced at that time, as was the top. A dual master cylinder was installed. The car has a power top (motor replaced) which works fine, although the switch is somewhat loose. The car also has a tinted windshield. The car has 94,400 miles which I believe is original, as I have only put on about 18,000 since buying it. The car was originally Silver Blue with blue interior, but I had the color changed to correct "Ermine White".

The entire front end was completely replaced including ball joints and shocks, and powder coating of the crossmember. Front and rear bumpers have been rechromed. At present the radio, washers, heater fan, and oil temp and cylinder head temp gauges are not working. The car is leaking transaxle fluid, and when recently serviced my mechanic informed me that it was down about an inch, which he topped off. The car was tuned at that time, and it runs very well.

I would be very pleased to sell it to a Corvair enthusiast. I have more pictures but I would appreciate it if you would share this information with any of your members who might be interested.

I would like to get $6000 for the car. I can be contacted at sjtulin@verizon.net or at 202-352-3070.

Thank you very much.

Steve Tulin
