Sometimes a right front wheel locking under hard
braking is
a sign of the left front being slow to apply. The rubber
hoses at the wheel can swell internally and restrict the
fluid flow; allowing the brake to work, but not quickly.
This situation would show up as a pull to the right under
normal braking.

I've also seen an issue with a grooved or ridged drum and
matching counterpart on the brake shoe. Under normal
braking they fit together, but in a hard stop they may not
align and then the shoe bites.
Thinking to move onto the right side and get both done.
Whatever I don't accomplish during the week, we could do
at the meeting.

It would be good to have all the rockers and rollers
examined to see if I need to replace any.

We could look at my braking system. Under panic stops
the right front usually locks. Nothing has fixed that.
The only line that has not been replaced is the line to
that wheel.

It would be helpful to have input as to what else I
should consider doing given the open state of the engine
compartment.

Also, everyone's suggestion as to a parts list I should
get for the assembly would be helpful.

I plan to send the heads to David at Stinger Motorsports
in Roanoke, so I probably won't be able to install them
til midApril.

Plus , there's always pinball!

But honestly, if you think that the group's time would be
better served helping another since I already got the
head out,
You have my support surely.
