<div dir="ltr">Thanks for the input, Bryan. I'm going to continue to explore a bit- hopefully soon I can at least get this girl road worthy. The clutch seems to be engaging now, but I can't get reverse. I think there might be a little too much flex in the shifter box that I need to reinforce a bit better. That, and maybe a little slop in the shifter tube itself... seems to go into other gears okay. </div><div class="gmail_extra"><br clear="all"><div><div class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div><font color="#444444"><i><b>Thanks!</b></i></font></div><div><font color="#444444"><i><br></i></font></div><div><font size="4" face="arial black, sans-serif"><b><font color="#444444"><i>S</i></font><i style="color:rgb(68,68,68)">tan Darke</i></b></font></div><div><font size="4" face="arial black, sans-serif" color="#cc0000"><b><i>DMV TEES</i></b></font></div><div><br></div><div dir="ltr">PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF OUR NEW ADDRESS!</div><div dir="ltr"><a href="https://www.google.com/maps/place/2800+Dorr+Ave,+Fairfax,+VA+22031/@38.8776984,-77.236609,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x89b64b70addbac7f:0xdf7bcbc505f2e595" target="_blank">2800 Dorr Ave</a></div><div dir="ltr"><a href="https://www.google.com/maps/place/2800+Dorr+Ave,+Fairfax,+VA+22031/@38.8776984,-77.236609,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x89b64b70addbac7f:0xdf7bcbc505f2e595" target="_blank">Suite J</a></div><div dir="ltr"><a href="https://www.google.com/maps/place/2800+Dorr+Ave,+Fairfax,+VA+22031/@38.8776984,-77.236609,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x89b64b70addbac7f:0xdf7bcbc505f2e595" target="_blank">Fairfax, VA 22031</a><br><div><br></div><div><b><i style="background-color:rgb(255,255,255)"><font size="4" color="#cc0000"><a href="http://dmvtees.com/DMV_Tees/DesignStudio/Home#/artLocations" target="_blank">CHECK OUT OUR NEW ONLINE T-SHIRT DESIGN STUDIO!</a></font></i></b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div><b><font color="#cc0000"><a href="http://WWW.DMVTEES.COM" target="_blank">WWW.DMVTEES.COM</a></font></b></div><div><br></div><div><i><font size="1">representing DC, MD, VA, and Beyond.</font></i></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>

I don't have any direct UV experience, but I have given a lot of thought to an engine for our Greenbrier. I don't think the additional top end of a 140 is particularly worth the added expense and lower reliability in a heavy vehicle, we just don't spend enough time north of 4k RPMs. Keep in mind the cooling system was designed for 80 HP.<br>
<br>
My intended combo:<br>
<br>
95 heads deflashed and milled .050" w/140 exhaust tubes and deep seats<br>
OT-10 cam or 260 degree cam of choice<br>
140 exh logs and big bore exhaust<br>
Nitrided crank<br>
New pistons, probably Clark's forged<br>
Balanced, oil system blueprinted<br>
12 plate oil cooler w/side shrouds<br>
110 dist w/electronic conversion<br>

But I think I really do want to do a PG with it for long term. This thing is a beast and I feel like we would be happier with PG for maneuvering and if my wife ever takes the wheel on long trips. So I'm going to research and would love to hear any opinions on a set up that would give me the nicest powerplant for traveling in this big whale. Gears, cam, etc, and maybe I can tackle this motor. I would love to learn how to build one and maybe it would be a fun group project at some point. In the meantime, if anyone with experience and thoughts are willing to share his thoughts, I would be very appreciative!<br>
