Hi, Gang! My second activity with the Central Virginia CC yesterday included 3 Corvairs - my RedBrier, Wade’s nice ‘66 Monza coupe, and Norm’s LM moredoor. Ran the Polar Bear Run with the Car Club Council. An hour’s drive from King William just to get to the starting point. Beautiful day, clear but cool. A few photos attached but many more in the link at the bottom. My favorite car there was a white ‘50 Chevy that you can see parked near my van. Beautiful red interior, fuel injection, nice poverty hubcaps with great stance. Only front clip and doors have been painted so far, single stage. He is doing one panel at a time. Finished at a restoration shop which is housed in a former Chevrolet dealership. I hope you had fun and learned something about rebuilding alternators at the Harris’. Later… Greg

We started out in Dinwiddie at the intersection of I-85 and Route 1 and traveled to a half way point at Davis Travel Center in Brunswick County and then to South Hill to be some of the first people in the new Pomp Boys Motors building - an old dealership turned into an automotive shop. Pomp Boys not only gave us a tour but also coffee and donuts. Then the participants traveled to lunch at various restaurants in South Hill. There were over 50 vehicles and about100 people. Many thanks to Vivian, Allen and Tony of Pomp Boys Motors! </em>
