Walt was very helpful to guys like me who do not know much about cars including the Corvair. He once came to my home in Gleneagle to help me with a carb problem. He spent a couple of hours with me and would not think of taking anything for gas or his time. He was very proud of his Corvairs and we are all going to miss him a lot.
