Subject: [PPCC] We need a Corvair Part, a pilot bushing and fun
Too warm greetings due to weather,
I have searched by phone for a Corvair pilot bushing and have not been able to find one in Colorado Springs.
But, a fun piece of infomation was conveyed to me at the last store ( Big A or Carquest) that said they had the pilot bushing and really didn't... The counter clerk was a lady who looked familiar... she worked for years over at Burt's parts at 5th and West Colorado.
She said that Walt Hundertmark had purchased every Corvair pilot bushing he could find at their store and all others in Colorado Springs.
If you might have ended up with some of the leftover parts from Walt's house, please bring us a pilot bushing to tomorrow's brunch.
Regards,
Garrie Fox
