[PPCC] Fuel lines

Hello Bud: I have used the sets from Clarks several times with no problem although I will say that I end up starting every fitting into place before trying to tighten any of them. It is very difficult to bend and flare the short 90 degree pieces, most are an 'almost' fit. I have a very high quality flaring tool but it won't flare the very short pieces of 90 degree after they are bent. It is almost impossible to bend them aftwards, every tubing bender that I own is too large for the short arc of the 90 degree lines. Good luck.
Best wishes, Steve

Subject: [PPCC] Fuel lines
Does anyone out there know where I can purchase metal fuel line? I was intending to fabricate a set for my '66 but have been unable to find a source.
Please don't tell me to buy from Clark's. I did that and ordered the pre-bent set for the 140. They don't fit. too short, too long, wrong angles, etc. I finally got tired of trying to bend and adapt them. I know I can do better if I can just find a source for the raw material.
Speaking of Clark's, this is the first time in years that I've had a problem with their parts. The odds must have caught up with me.
Thanks,
Bud Edwards
