[PPCC] Fwd: March Dripline

I arrived by train in Colorado Springs to go to Army Basic Training at Camp 
 Carson in August 1959 just in time for the record snowfall for any 
September  of  27.9". It fell while we were camped out in tents up in the 
mountains.

We arrived in Lincoln NE from Saudi Arabia in the summer of 1959.  The 
winter of '59/60 brought us 60" of snow on the level before spring  of '60 snow 
melt. I was fourteen then, as I recall.......... Big  difference from 
Saudi... I was not grown yet, and the snow shovel  handles ended being extended 
18" so I could throw snow on top of the  snow piles along the drive and 
sidewalks.

I  can answer two questions in this issue.  Where was I in  1960?  Since I 
just got and invitation to Holy Rosary School 50  year kindergarten reunion, 
I must have been in kindergarten.   

As  to why my battery was dead this morning, Michael left the lights on  
last night!
