Someone else asked me about the louvers for you car too. I haven't seen the chrome inserts in many years
and it doesn't surprise me that few will remember them let alone have them on hand. All you can do is keep asking and looking. I haven't seen a set on a car here in Denver in years. Trouble is when one comes up missing it is difficult to know what to do with the rest. Good luck in your search.
Best wishes, Steve

Subject: [PPCC] Chrome Louvers
Here is an e-mail from PPCC member Don Rowinski requesting availability of chrome louvers for the rear deck lid on his Corvair. Can anyone help? His e-mail address is included above in this e-mail.
DON, when you want to reach all the PPCC members in a single e-mail, just send an e-mail to ppcc-list at corvair.org.
Thanks

Hi Paul. When you go to the next brunch can you do me a favor? I had a rear end accident 10/02 at a home coming in Simla Co. I had the engine compartment lid damaged and I have stainless steel louver covers on the lid 8 got bent. I contacted Corvair Ranch Jeff he had a few a while back but sold them to a guy in Australia. Clarks has never heard of them in 35 years . Thanks Don.
