Hey, I literally stumbled onto this ad which indicates there is man who restores Ultra Vans in Taos.......... It might be fun to meet him and visit when we are in Taos for the Tri State.

The most unique Ultra Van, a 1967 model, "ULTIMA", is for sale. 
This great 22 foot long coach has been meticulously maintained by its owner of 20+ years, and has less than 1,000 miles on a rebuilt engine. 
The iridescent paint striping is a show stopper! There is a very active Ultra Van Club which has regular meets. 
"ULTIMA" is equipped with a Corvair engine, a four-speed manual transmission, roof air conditioner, and a low hour 2.8 KW Onan generator. 
Aircraft type construction makes "Ultima" a very low weight vehicle. Original dry weight was about 3400 pounds.
