[PPCC] corvair fan/blower belt

I called Clark's Corvair parts today and asked about the slipping of their new Clark's C5790 belt that I rec'd as a door prize at the Tri State. 

I have the tension set exactly as they recommended, so I asked if I should snug it up just a bit at the idler pulley. 

Jane passed me to a tech, think his name was Kurt, and he told me I might try roughing up the V portion of the belt where it fits down into the pulley... with some light sand paper no less?

I told him mine said Made in Indonesia and he said the have belts made from different vendors? I'll let you know how this Off Shore belt works! 

I am going to stop at NAPA to see if the Gates 3V560 or 3VX560 is made off shore now.
