Brenda S., CNM, asked me to forward this to all who might still be looking for TRI STATE Lodging.
 
There are still rooms available and the price possibilities seem reasonable with plenty of room for children etc..
 
We settled on a cabin at Alpine Lodge for $74.24 per night already, but there appears to be no reason for anyone to commute from outlying lodging yet. Even the host hotel has accommodations; see below for information.

Garrie,
    Please pass this on to anyone who is still looking for housing for the Red River Tri-State or is interested in being in the large car show. I did talk to Billie directly, yesterday and He says he  does not charge extra for children ... some suites have sleeper sofas / loft beds  which are in the price of the suites. People with children can even bring in the blow up beds with their own sheets!!!
 
     We had a positive Corvairs of NM meeting last night and our club is looking forward to this Tri-State in a very beautiful town. I don’t want  anyone commuting if they are fine with sharing these very impressive suites. Once someone talks to Billie, about the Suite option,  they can even view the suites on the internet! One of our members has stayed in the suite and was impressed. Another member has walked through some suites and said they are very upscale accommodations.

    We want to make sure that both Colorado car clubs are updated. NO, the Lifts West is NOT our of rooms. They are out of Hotel Style rooms and Studios. Anyone wanting to join us at our guest lodge should now talk to Billie Hurst.  He has “Suites” that have a common lodge den but private bedrooms and private baths. Some end up less than the $65. per couple when these two bedroom suites are shared. (Yes, we have now booked over 30 rooms ... but Billie is working with us on Suites).  
 
     The Red River City car show’s website is : Redriverclasiccarshow.com:  Click on Registration ... can register on line or download form to Mail in.  The deadline for the $30.00 registration (including T-Shirts with corvair silhouettes on the back)  is April 30th.  Then it jumps to $40.00 a car to register. We are having the banquet in the Lifts West Banquet room. 
 
      Please, pass this on to both Colorado Clubs ... I attend the CNM meetings so our club get the revisions twice a month.
