The three cars and parts that with those cars are available. I understood only one is a spyder/turbo. One has no title but they can't recall which model. I bought the parts that were stored here in Lakewood.

I was going to go Sunday and look at the cars but they said it was muddy in places around them and with the wet on Saturday night and I needed to be at the shop Sunday morning anyway so I passed. I don't need muddy feet in my car either so I wouldn't have gone even if I hadn't needed to be at the shop.

Best wishes, Steve

Subject: [PPCC] Three Corvairs for Sale in Coal Creek Canyon

  PPCC Members,

I was going to have the below information placed into the February Dripline, but in the interest of time (not sure how quick this fella wants to get rid of the cars), I thought I'd share it on this distro instead.

I was recently contacted by a gentleman who is trying to sell three Corvairs and parts that his father has had for a number of years. They are sitting on his property in Coal Creek Canyon, just SW of Boulder. One is a LM coupe and the other two are turbo convertibles. A junk dealer was offering him $175 per car, but he would prefer to sell to a Vail club member instead.

If interested, please call David Pinkley directly @ 303-642-9285.

NOTE: Steve Goodman has already acquired most of the parts, and I have some pictures of the cars/bodies if anyone is interested in seeing them before making a call for additional info. Let me know and I'll forward those pics out to you directly under a separate email.

  Thanks,

  Ed Halpin
  President, PPCC
