Hello PPCC Crew,

I want to take this opportunity to once again thank Paul and Pat Campbell for having the Club over to their place and hosting the November meeting for us. Lots of yummy breakfast treats, and Paul even put on his baker's hat to deliver some sticky buns that were fantastic! Thanks again for opening your home to us.

The meeting was well attended, with some good conversation and great ideas for improvements in meeting location and how we can grow the club. The regular chat was followed up by a tech session on Corvair electrical Systems, which spilled over to electronics in general. Wayne Russert brought a box of show-and-tell goodies that really piqued the interest. As always, I learned a lot, and his discussion on crimping tools had me digging mine out when I got home to make sure I did in fact have the best one to do the job. Thanks for sharing, Wayne!

Steve Goodman wasn't able to attend, but provided a packet of articles he'd written related to Battery Voltage, poor connections, and ideas on additional wiring opportunities when you need to add in another gauge or device to your ride. His diagram for a starter relay drew a bit of discussion from the team, and folks had a copy of that packet to take home with them for future reference. Thanks as well for sharing Steve!

To round out the discussion, Randy Karl brought a full wiring diagram that he put together for his '68. He used a plotter printer to pull all 4 pages into one fan-fold sheet so you could see the car end to end, from a wiring perspective. Pretty cool, thanks Randy.

As discussed at the meeting, the December PPCC meeting will be held in conjunction with the Christmas Party being held at David and Mary Ellen Feasel's home on Saturday, 12/14 at 1pm. A quick vote for the 2014 Club Officers, and then an afternoon of good food and holiday cheer. If you would like to volunteer for one of the club positions, please shoot your name over to our VP, Randy Karl before the meeting.

Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving holiday. See you all on the 14th!
