It starts at 10:00 a.m. Bring a sack lunch, drinks and dessert will be provided. You need to bring:-Bring along a Corvair valve cover that can be used for construction. This is gravity powered so don't bring any motors, magnets, springs, jet engines......-Wayne has light weight lumber that can be used for cutting the base of the racer, as well as some scrap metal that can be used for weights. Even though there is no minimum weight, there is a maximum weight of 4.5 lbs. Wayne has a scale that can be used to be sure no one goes over weight on their racer. Please feel free to bring your own base or weights if you want.-Bring what ever you want to use for wheels and axles. Many folks use old CD's. -Creativity is key but you need to think about friction when running the racer. Ed will be bringing his 3 completed racers and will be sharing information on best choices to make, so you will be able to finish the build at home.--Be sure to go to the Corsa site to review the guidelines for Corvair Valve Cover Racing before Saturday.
****Finally, RSVP to Wayne, by phone or email, to let him know you are coming to the workshop.**** 303-660-3799 deartrail at wans.net Hope to see many of you on Saturday.
Chris
