 This is Bryan Blackwell's (Corsa Computer Server guy) response to those who noticed the Chapter 809 photos on our website load slowly compared to Corvair clubs.
I use a program to reduce the size of photos imbedded in the appraisals I do. Otherwise the typical 20 page appraisal would be too big to send as attachments on most email recipients' providers. Most of my appraisals contain at least two dozen pics and they download with the entire report in less than 15 seconds.

Hi Garrie,

I took a look at the photos in pastevents/2014/fall drive, if the others are like that I'm not surprised - those pics run 2 to 3 MB plus per image.  Generally I shoot for images around 300 to 400 KB.  There's no real advantage to the really big images for display on a computer, and as you can see they slow things down considerably.
