[PPCC] Car Show for a Boy Scout Event - Castle Rock

For those of you who may want another option on September 9th. This event is being organized by fellow Corvair owner, and RMC member, Chad Church.

ChiliFest is the name of this event and it is a chili cook off. Dozens of people enter their chili recipes. People buy tickets and get to sample as many of the chilis they want (and go home full). The chilis and cars are judged for various categories. ChiliFest is one of our largest fundraisers for our scouts. 




There is a live band, silent auction, car smash, etc.. 




The fee to enter a car show is $20 and that includes 2 tickets to the event. The entry also allows you to enter a chili, if you want to. 




You can upgrade to a $25 entry fee, which will I get your car a spot inside the hall, right next to the ChiliFest. 




Trophies will be awarded to the top vehicle of the various categories. Each vehicle entry will also receive a dash plaque. 




This event is on September 9th and events center at the Douglas County Fair Grounds in Castle Rock. 




I'd love to see some Corvairs there! Maybe my '69 Monza convertible will be at next year's ChiliFest!
