I believe Steve is correct. The train is the Mt. Washington Cog in Bretton Woods, NH.
We rode this thing a few years back and were amazed at the flimsy track supports up the mountain.
Definitely best not to look down!

I don't think the pic of the train and the white early cpe with open door is a current photograph. Look at the other cars in the pic; a Pontiac in the late 50s and either 61 Valiant or Lancer. Plus other old cars.  I think all or at least many of the pics are from days past.
Obviously I can be mistaken too.
