[PPCC] Club meeting

A gentle reminder of the upcoming meeting of the PPCC on Sunday morning, 9:30am at the Valley-Hi Golf Course there in the Springs. 

Chris and the team have a pretty full agenda to discuss, as the Club has some important events coming up in September, and would like as many folks chiming in as possible. 

A couple of items include: 



    * Support and participation commitment to the September 2nd First Saturday Car Show that we will be sponsoring. We need 25 Corvair powered vehicles out there, so all hands on deck! 
    * Planning our 40th Anniversary Party, to be held on Sunday, September 17th. 
    * Coordination update for the PPCC Fall Aspen Drive to Buena Vista on Sunday September 24th, and 
    * Planning of the caravan drive out to Oklahoma City at the end of September to attend the Great Plains Round-Up (Tri-State like Midwest regional Corvair event) 
For those members who we rarely see, this is one of those meetings that you're going to want to try to make, please. Do you really need an excuse to get out and drive your Corvair, in beautiful weather? Of course you don't. So put it on your calendar, on your to-do list, and make it happen! 

And don't forget, Tony Lawler is running the monthly 50/50 drawing. So, you not only get to drive your Corvair, you could get paid to do it!! The last 50/50 drawing was won by the guest of our newest member (just joined that morning), so, you don't even have to be a member for 20 years to be a winner!! 

Hope to see you all at the golf course on Sunday.

P.S.: We'll be meeting at the same golf course location in August, so if there's any golfers out there that want me to set up a tee time for after the meeting to knock around some little white balls, let me know. I'm planning to do it anyway, wanted to put that out there for you other putters :)

Good Morning Everyone, 

Since the Tiny Town picnic and show was cancelled last month, the July and August meetings will be at Valley Hi Golf Course. Arrive between 9-9:30 am to gather, socialize and order breakfast if you choose to, and the meeting will begin at 9:30. 

Also a reminder of our trip out to Keenesburg on July 22nd, to the Wildlife Sanctuary for a car show/benefit for the Sanctuary. 

Looking forward to seeing you all at the meeting on the 16th at Valley Hi.
