The tour is $10 per person as part of the pre-booked group tour.

Hello All, 

A gentle reminder on Chris' note below, that this Saturday we will be meeting up at 10:45am for an 11am lunch at the Airplane Restaurant in Colorado Springs, followed by a 1pm guided tour of the National Museum of WWII Aviation. During lunch, we'll have our monthly business meeting to get caught up on all of the happenings. 

Would love to see our newest members get a chance to join up with us this weekend so we can get to know you all a little more.

Description 	
On Saturday, June 24th, we will visit the National Museum of WWII Aviation. We'll grab lunch at the Airplane Restaurant (1665 Newport Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80916) at 11am (menu located @ http://www.theairplanerestaurant.com ) and then tour the facility at 1pm. The Museum's 109,000 square foot facility includes exhibit galleries, volunteer workshops and a state-of-the-art World War II aircraft restoration facility. Through close relationships with collectors around the country, the museum displays a wide array of fully restored aircraft that represent all aspects of America's involvement in World War II. Most of the aircraft are meticulously restored to flying condition, and many are flown at the museum on public demonstration days. Hi Everyone, 

Last month at the club meeting, it was decided by the members present to combine the meeting and tour this month (No meeting at the golf course this month). The tour is of the WW II Museum with lunch at the Airplane Restaurant. Lunch reservations are for 11:00 am and we will be eating in the airplane. It is recommended we be there by 10:45 am. The tour at the museum will begin at 1:00 pm. 

Directions to both the restaurant and the museum are below. It should be lots of fun and hope you all plan to be there. Thanks Wayne for getting the reservations made for both lunch and the tour.

1665 Newport Rd,

Drive S. of Franktown on Hwy. 83 
Turn E. (L) on N. Powers Blvd. which eventually curves south. 
Turn E. (L) on E. Fountain Blvd. 
Look for a big airplane. 

After eating we drive 1 mile N. of the restaurant to the WWII museum.

The museum expects us at 1 PM.
