Hello PPCC Crew,

I was chatting with a prospective member last night and he is in the market for a Corvair, preferably a Rampside, which is in turn-key shape, ready to be on the road and have some fun. He is mechanically inclined, spending the last several years building rock crawlers and hopped up Jeeps. Now, he wants to check out the Corvair side of things.

He is open to other model Corvairs, but the Rampy is his first choice. In speaking with him, he knows that he does not want a convertible or a wagon. If its a car, he would like a coupe or sedan (late model, but I think he's open to an early model too), 2 or 4 doors, and would be open to a van as well.

He's also interested in purchasing 2 or 3 complete project Corvairs as well, to fix up and sell down the road.

Our western slope PPCC Vairhead out in Austin, William Pearce, has agreed to work with this fella to see if they can locate a vehicle that will fit his wish list.

I know some of the club members have Rampsides that may not be in running condition today, that you may consider parting with, or, you may know of someone who may have one. If that's the case, please reach out directly to William via email at sandtpearce at gmail.com or by phone at 970-835-5260.

Thanks in advance for the assistance.
