Brian Blackwell has the correct bulge nuts which allow use of the Camaro Z-28 wheels without installing longer studs.
I purchased two sets from him as have two Corvairs using them with 195/60 front and 205s on the rear.. 195/60 gives perfection on the speedo accuracy.

Well, I personally am a fan of Z-28 Camaro wheels from the 80's (around 1984). You need longer rear wheel studs but they fit the LM bolt pattern and are hub centric. There are many out there but they are used. I've put together two sets of five in case I ruin one and had them refinished (sand blasted, powder coated, machined, clear powder coated).

Use "bulge" style lug nuts. The Camaro studs an nuts were metric but the Corvair size and threads are fine.

I have Kumho Ecsta tires. The model I have has been superseded. I think I am running P195/60 R15 on both a '65 and a '66. They could be P195/65 R15.

Take a look at this article:

As noted, the Z-28 wheel offset is not quite right so the cars are a bit twitchy.

I'll be at the Tri-State so you can see them.

Subject: [PPCC] Greetings from the Western Slope

Hi Folks,
I am looking for wheels and tires for my son's 67 Monza. I would like something sporty like Cragar's or similar and whatever tires you might recommend or have. I plan to attend the Tri-State in Crested Butte next month so I was hoping to pick them up at the show if possible. The Springs area is a 5 hour drive for me so the show seems like a good place to meet.
Any suggestions on wheels and tires would be appreciated even if you don't have them to sell but can point me in the right direction.
Thanks,JK
