[PPCC] OPGI Corvair Catalog Shipping Later This Month

Hello All,


Look what I got in the mail the other day (see attached)!


Several months ago (actually last year), I saw that these guys (OPG) were getting ready to put together a catalog for the restoration of Corvairs, and it looks like they've finally got it ready for publication.


Who knows if the parts they'll offer will be more expensive, or of lesser quality than what we're used to with Clarks (and others), but it's good to see another option for parts, which Clarks may not have in stock.


Another influence here on our little hobby is that someone who wants to get into fixing up an old car with their kid or grandkid, can no longer either find or afford an old Camaro, Firebird, Mustang, Chevelle, etc. (thanks to Barrett Jackson, Mecum and the others who have jacked up prices so high that the average Joe can't afford to buy one).  But, they can afford a Corvair, so, our hobby is changing.


Once I receive my catalog, I'll bring it to that next Club meeting so we can discus.  I'm looking forward to seeing what they'll come up with.
