Hello all,

Just some information about our next club meeting, which is also a BBQ and a tour of Duane’s Classic Motors property. It will be on April 28th. The meeting and food will start at 11am. That is because the Humble BBQ food truck will be there for lunch. Duane is going to cover the first $10 of everybody’s order, which covers most or all of your meal. There is different meats, meals, sandwiches, sides and drinks on their menu. You can look at their menu at: https://humblebbq.wixsite.com/mysite.

Our destination event is at 12975 Log Road, Peyton, 80831. Here are a couple ways to get there:
1 - He is on Hwy US-24, exactly 3 miles east of Peyton (OR 12 miles from the intersection of Hwy US-24 & Woodman Rd), the Hwy goes to the top of the hill along with a passing lane that ends at the top.  After that, take the first right hand turn.  Go 1/2 mile south to the gate on the left;
2 - GPS coordinates: 39.017000, -104.423111.
IF wind and weather permits, we will have our Corvair feather flag on the corner on Hwy US-24 where you are suppose to turn right.

He has over 100 Corvairs for parts, but there are many for complete project cars. Make sure you ask before taking parts off, so as not to take from a project car. He does have 4 or 5 wagons also for projects that are restorable. Make sure you offer reasonable prices for any parts you take. Make sure you bring whatever tools you might need to pry, screw or carefully bang it off the car.

For those that have not been there before, his property is just out in the open high prairie plains. You should probably not bring your Corvair and you should wear very sturdy shoes for the prairie grasses.

We are hoping for a large turn out as Duane is graciously getting the food truck and opening up his business for all those that need parts to get their Corvair running or running better.

Any questions, feel free to contact me and I’ll try my best to answer.
See you there,
John
