PPCC List - Parade

Hello all,

We have been invited to the Florence Pioneer Day Parade.  It is on Sept. 21.  It would be great to have several Corvairs there showing all the various models. I need to know ASAP as they need a registration from the club showing how many cars and folks.

The line up is at 9am.  The parade starts at 10am.  The theme for the weekend is “Bars & Brothels”.  I know that ties in very well with Corvairs, but it will be fun.  It ends at Pioneer Park where they will have food, vendors, music, entertainment, activities and games.  There will be some Denver Broncos there.  If you want you can stay for an air show at 1pm.  There will also be a dance at the Elks with music by “Atomic Fireballs” at 7pm.  

If you go down the day before they will have the crowning of the King & Queen and entertainment by “G.I.Jive” big band bash beginning at 5pm at the airport.  If you want to go to the Mess Hall, there will be a Tiki Canteen and dance.  This will cost $15.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you are coming, which car you will have, what you want for the announcer to say about it and how many folks with be with you.
