PPCC List - Opportunities

Hello all,

This is an all call to club members for volunteers.  It is that time of year to think about filling your officer and board positions.  The positions opening up for next year are President, Secretary and Member-at-large.  Ken would like to stay on as VP and Randy as Treasurer.  Please have your nominations in to the board by the November club meeting so we can vote at the Christmas party.  You can nominate yourself or you can nominate someone else, as long as you have confirmed with them that they are interested.  You only need to be a member of the club for one year to be eligible for any of the board positions.

Also, open immediately are Webmaster, Membership Chair, Activities Chair and Collector Car Council of Colorado representative (CCCC rep).  These are not elected positions, so you just have to let the board know you would like to volunteer.  All club members are eligible for any of these opportunities.  Also, if anyone is interested in becoming editor of The Drip Line, this is a position that can be handled from anywhere - you certainly don’t have to be on the front range.

Most of the above position descriptions are all in the membership directory/handbook.  We encourage all club members to be involved, even those not geographically near to Colorado Springs. With todays technology including cell phones, email and remote options for meetings (such as Web-Ex, Skype, Duo, etc.), we can connect to anyone, anywhere.

We really need all of these positions filled for the club to run smoothly.  Just think about it.  If everyone thinks somebody else will do it and nobody does, where does that leave us???  So, consider how you can be involved and get back to an officer or board member soon.
